The introduction of Turkish language:

Turkish, or Turkey Turkish language speaking family in the Ural - Altai which is attributed to Oguz language group. This language is spoken in the wide geographical area including Turkey, Iraq, the Balkans Islands, Central Asia, Azerbaijan, Cyprus, Turkmenistan, Middle Europe, parts of Russia and parts of Bulgaria and Kyrgyzstan. It also is the official language of Turkey, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Northern Cyprus and part of Romania, Macedonia, Kosovo, Iraq and some parts of Bulgaria.

Turkish languages ​​divided into different dialects:

  • Southwest Oguz accent (Anatolia, Azerbaijan, Asia and Iraqi Turkmen)
  • Northwest Kypchak accent t (Tatars, Kazakhs, Caspian and Gagavvz)
  • Tai Southeast Chagh accent (Uzbek, Kyrgyz, Kazakhs)
  • Turkish accent Central Asia (Altai, Tuva, yellow Avygvrnzhad, the East Turkestan)
  • Turkish accent Northeast (Yakut)
  • Turkish accent Chavush

Accent: differences in language due to geographical and political reasons in voice, structure and arrangement of words and it leads to divide language into different dialects.

The dialect-dialect accents Istanbul has become a written language. Japanese, Korean, Mongolian, Hungarian and Finnish are classified as Altai Avral languages.

Other members of Altai –​​Avral are not pure languages, but Turkish language among those is rich due to eight vowels , sentence structure of verb, subject and object .

Turkish language is full of suffix and it is very different from Persian language with a complex structure. Learning this language for Farsi speakers is very sweet and charming cause of being neighbor, use of this language by Turkish people in Azerbaijan and other Turkish ones in various regions. Nowadays, Turkish dialect will be considered as the standard dialect of Turkish language.

History of Turkish

Since early 6th century AD, Turkish people have started to migrate to Anatolia from the Far East, regions of Dagestan, Turkestan and Mongolia. As a result of this migration, they were scattered from West to Anatolia, from south to the Black Sea and the West in the 9thcentury. In this respect, Turkish can be divided into two categories: Northeastern Turkish and Western Turkish.

Northeast Turkish continues an old Turkish language which was used in the north Caspian Sea and Central Asia in the 13th and 14thcentury.

Western Turkish language is also used in Turkey.

There are five major dialects in the Turkish language:

  • the standard of Turkey Turkish dialect (Standard dialect)
  • Rumelia Dialect (Rumeli was addressed Turk regions from the Ottoman territory in Europe and today it is a part of European side of Istanbul.)

Turkish and Azeri Turkish differences:

Azeri Turkish language (which is spoken in our country) is not as soft and melodious as Turkish. One of the reasons is the lack of letters such as H, N, G. in Turkish, of letters such as H, N, G in Turkish, which is turned to more tuneful in common words between Azeri and Turkish.For example, the letter "Q" in many cases changes to "K" and the letter "i" changes to "e”.

It has 29 letters, eight vowels and 21 consonant sound.

Different reasons for learning Turkish language:

  • Political and trade relations between Iran and Turkey have been increasing since the Prime Minister of Recep Tayyip Erdogan. It leads to improve the activity of import and export- grade. Most of the Turkish companies have branches in Iran .It can be to your advantage to know Turkish language.
  • The absorption of tourist in recent years leads to job creation even for Iranians in this country (such as sending tour leaders to Turkey). Learning this language can also be a way of employment.
  • Learning Turkish helps you to become familiar with Azeri and learn it from Azeri languages.

Who is more convenient and easier in Learning Turkish?

Perhaps, it is easier for Azeri Turkish language to learn it. Because they are more familiar with the language through hearing or intuitive content, but it seems a little difficult to Persians .Gradually, it will be little hard for Azari languages to choose words and grammar. The grammar of these two languages ​​(Azeri Turkish and Istanbul) is similar but there are some differences in many cases .So it is easier for Persians and it will be possible to make headway. Azeri languages​​ have to separate it from Azeri Turkish in their mind. (Both grammar, choice of words and in terms of dialect), but the Persians who do not have the background of Azeri Turkish will learn it independently.

Education in Turkey:

Quality education: higher education system in Turkey has significantly improved in the past few decades, both qualitatively and quantitatively. Turkish Universities have a great opportunity for international students.

It is also reflected in the international ranking list. According to the Times Higher Education BRICS and Rating Agency in 2014, seven Turkish universities are on the list of top 100 universities, three of them are on the list of top 10, plus nine Turkish universities ranked among the top 800 universities by Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) in England and 19 of them are among top1000 universities in the world. Turkish universities provide high level of education and it is an integral part of European Education. A large number of programs are in English, including medical, engineering, humanities, business and financial affairs. Since 2001, Turkey is a part of Dologna and also a member of many different international systems in the world. It means that all students and university students are able to continue their education in other countries (with ECTS, the credit transfer system in Europe). Turkish language tests for acceptance Students from outside Turkey

Since 2010, all exams have been carried on related university.

Test Yös:

It is for foreign students. Part of it will be done online through the site and written exam will be held at the University. The exam will be held by Yunus Emre Cultural Office which is Representative of Istanbul University in Iran. It has two parts. The first part is ability and skill tests (80 ones), it includes math and geometry. The second part is related to Turkish language (50 questions in 60 minutes).

Test Ales:

This test is for students who want to study PhD or Master in Turkey. Students need a quorum of 55. It will be held twice a year in spring and fall. It takes 180 minutes. Lessons depend on the field of choice.

Test TYS:

This test is to evaluate the ability of non-Turkish language speakers. It is replaced by Tömer in Turkey. Its Questions are easier than Tömer questions and its cost is less (200 TL). Tömer test is not acceptable in many universities in Turkey. This exam will be held in Yunus Emre Cultural Center in Tehran. The test consists of four parts:

  • Reading skill (okuma): 40 questions, 60 minutes
  • Writing skill (yazma)): In this section, candidates answer two questions, the first question is 20 minutes and the second question is 40 minutes.
  • Listening skill( dinleme): 30 questions, 45 minutes
  • Speaking skill (konuşma): It will be done in two forms as an interview. The first part is free speech and answer to one question in five minutes and the second part is conversation and answer to 7 questions in 10 minutes.

The total time is 180 minutes.

Each section is 25 scores and the total score will be 100.

Less than 55 is rejected.

From 55 to 70 score: B2
From 71 to 88 score: C2 
From 89 to 100 score: C1
